How do I override the styles for the form element?
By default, the form element embeds styles for your forms onto the rendered HTML page. This can make it difficult to override those styles if you want to create custom styles for your forms. To create custom styles for your forms, you must configure the form element to exclude the basic form styles.
To exclude basic form styles:
- Go to the page that includes the form element.
- Select Settings from the Form element menu.
- On the Form Settings page, Basic tab, clear the Include basic form CSS styles check box.
- Click the Save my changes button.
Tip: Copy the default form styles that are rendered on the page to your custom stylesheet before you disable the form styles. Copying these styles gives you a starting point for your custom styles.
